Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private universityA established in 2005 in Jalandhar, Punjab. LPU has approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a respectable member of the Association of Indian Universities. In 2021, LPU was ranked 37, 62, 66, and 81 under Management. Engineering, and overall categories, respectively, by the NIRF 2021. Currently, the university offers around 300 degree and diploma programs across its 45 departments.
